Timothy Boyd Sellers, 61, of Great Falls, passed away on August 1, 2016 at his home. Services will be held on Saturday, August 27 at 11:00am with a potluck to follow at Mountain View Lutheran Church. Internment at Highland Cemetery will be at a later date. Tim was born July 17, 1955 in Denver, CO to Kay Francis Sellers and Jean Pauline Martz. Four brothers soon followed: Daniel, Anthony, David, and Darryl. As an Air Force family they were stationed around the world, from Japan to Tuscon, and finally, Malmstrom AFB. His lifelong career as a car salesman introduced him to the love of his life in 1979, Debra Lynn Sokoloski, also stationed at MAFB. After failing to sell her a Porsche, he instead asked her on a date, touting that he had cable television. In 1981, they moved to Los Angeles, married, and had two daughters, Michelle Lynn and Lindey Ann. There he worked for prestigious car dealerships, winning many awards and taking celebrities on test-drives. In between work came play: motor-crossing, hunting, camping, and family trips back to MT and AZ. In 1994, after the Northridge earthquake, they relocated to Great Falls to be closer to family. Tim started his own car dealership, Sellers Wholesalers at the east end of 10th and joined the Great Falls Motorcycle Club. In recent years he was blessed with two grandchildren, Jenica Lynn and Rawlin Ryan, who he loved more than anything. He could often be seen cruising the car shows on his “candy apple red” wheelchair scooter with Rawlin on the front, or sorting Hot Wheels for hours on end. On July 31, 2016, he picked up Deb for what would unknowingly be their last date. Front row tickets to the Alabama concert! His final phone call would be to Lindey from the concert, to have her listen to his favorite song by the band, Im in a Hurry (And Dont Know Why).” After the concert, he rode his scooter through the food court getting his favorite fair food. He then went home, went to bed, and never woke up. He left this earthly life doing his favorite things, with his favorite people, knowing we loved him and he loved us. He is forever in Glory with the Lord in Heaven! Along with his parents, brother Tony, niece Daphne, and little pups Scooter, Menage, Princi, and Baby. Memorials may be sent in Tim’s name to Mountain View Lutheran, 800 Sacajawea Dr, Great Falls, MT 59404. Isaiah 25: 6-8 On this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine—the best of meats and the finest of wines. On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken.
