Valerie Mary Gascon

Valerie Mary Gascon, 72, passed away Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016 at Benefis Healthcare. A celebration of life is planned for Monday, August 8, 2016 at 3:00 PM at a family member’s home, 21 Shamrock Lane. Cremation was in the care of O’Connor Funeral Home. Valerie was born April 1, 1944 to David and Ernestine Doney in Fort Belknap, MT. She received her diploma from St. Paul’s Mission High School in Hays, MT and attended the College of Great Falls. Valerie worked as an Indian Education Coordinator in the Great Falls Public Schools for many years. Valerie enjoyed spoiling her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, going to garage sales, rides to the mountains and fishing with Pete. Valerie is survived by her husband, Pete Gascon of Great Falls; daughters, Peggy (Chad) Seelye and Julie (Frank) Monsalve; sons Bill (Jennifer) Cochran, Mike (Lynetta) Gascon and Shane (Christine) Gascon; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her sister Caroline Elioff.
