Viola Biberdorf passed away peacefully on November 1, 2023, at 98 years of age, in Great Falls, Montana. She was born Viola L. Dinwoodie in Bottineau, North Dakota on October 3, 1925, to W. Russell and Alice (Pugh) Dinwoodie.
She married Oren Biberdorf on July 6, 1945, in Bottineau. Two children were born to the marriage, a son, Dennis, and a daughter, Darlene. They farmed in Bottineau until 1956 when the family moved to Great Falls.
She worked for many years in food service, working for the Great Falls School System, 4B’s Cafeteria, and the Great Falls Clinic until retirement.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she volunteered many joyful hours over the years.
She is survived by her daughter, Darlene of Kent, Washington; brothers, Gordon (Marilyn) and Roger (Jean) Hall of Bottineau; and sister, Lorna Goetz of Fort Collins, Colorado; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Hall and Nola Biberdorf, both of Bottineau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oren in 1996; and son, Dennis in 1969; brothers, Clifford Dinwoodie and Alvin Hall; sisters, Leona Dinwoodie Hall and Delma Fairweather; as well as sister-in-law, Marjorie Dinwoodie, and brothers-in-law, Lorren Fairweather and Harold Goetz.
