Viola Walker

Viola Ellen (Burgess) Walker, 87, of Great Falls passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 while vacationing at Fairmont Hot Springs. Viewing is Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. followed by services at 2:00 at Hillcrest Lawn Chapel. Viola was born June 24, 1926, in Fairmont, MN, to Kenneth and Martha Burgess. Viola is survived by her daughters, Audrey Wesland of Helena, Cynde Swartz of Great Falls, and son Steven Walker of Great Falls; sister Rose Ann Oman of Anoka, MN; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orvell Walker; son Paul Walker; daughter Ruthie Solley; and a granddaughter Sarah Walker who she helped raise. Memorial donations may be made to the Charles Russell Back Country Horseman or Montana Diabetes Foundation.
