Violet Tabaracci, 85, of Great Falls passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 of natural causes at Benefis. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10 am at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. Arrangements will take place under the direction of O’Connor Funeral Home. Violet was born on December 7, 1928, to Minnie and Carlo Tabaracci in Stockett. She attended grade school in Stockett and two years of high school at Centerville High School before graduating from Great Falls High School. Violet worked at Commercial Credit Union for two years before working at the First National Bank (U.S. Bank) for 39 years. Violet was a lifetime member of the Flower Grower’s Organization. She was also a very active bowler for over 25 years. She also belonged to the Blessed Sacrament Church and Altar Society. She was a board member for the Black Eagle Park and spent many hours volunteering for activities there. She was a volunteer for Benefis Hospital Auxiliary and belonged to the Eagles Association. Violet is survived by her sister, Marian Obstar; sister-in-law Lyla Tabaracci, nieces Kathy Jensen, Gina Tabaracci, Joan Jones, and Mary Wells; nephews Michael Obstar, John Tabaracci, and Steve Tabaracci; as well as several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
