Virginia Holzheimer, 86, of Great Falls, passed away on October 23, 2019, of natural causes. A funeral mass will take place at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish on November 23, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial of ashes at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Virginia was born on June 1,1933, to George John Pinski and Ann Marie Leistiko Pinski. She graduated from Great Falls Central Catholic High School in 1951. She married Robert V. Holzheimer on January 24, 1952, and immediately moved to California so Bob could continue his military career. They moved back to the Great Falls area where she was the bookkeeper and manager for family rental properties. Bob and Virginia decided to raise their six children in the farming communities of Greenfield Bench, Sun River, and Fort Shaw to offer them a better life style. Virginia was a loving, caring woman of strong faith. A social butterfly, she loved children and singing in church choir and especially the holiday family gatherings. She loved sending birthday cards to various family members, playing Rummy with daughter, and she always had a happy pleasant outlook on life. She was never known for complaining, she was a hard working city turned farm gal, and she loved God with all her heart. She always had plenty of love and smiles to go around. Virginia is survived by her brother, Joe Pinski of Neihart; children, Russ (Pam), Chuck, Mark (Cindy), Rebecca (Mike), Wes, and Ben (James); many nephews and nieces; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert V. Holzheimer; and brother, George Pinski of Reno, NV. She will be greatly missed by all of those whose lives she touched along her journey. Memorials may be made to Peace Hospice. We want to thank the nurses and staff at Peace Hospice House and Westview Center for the passionate care that mom received while with them. We love and miss you mom.
