Wanda K Banks

Wanda Kay Banks, 51, of Great Falls passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on November 15, 2014. Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 3:00 pm at O’Connor Memorial Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to O’Connor Funeral Home. Wanda was born in Great Falls on November 6, 1963 to Alfred and Audrey Waite. She attended schools in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High in 1982. Wanda was a bookkeeper at the Heritage Inn for 32 years and later worked as the manager of the Max Casino. She always loved working with “my girls”. Wanda’s grandchildren were her life, she loved them dearly. She also enjoyed camping, going to garage sales, boating, soaking up the sunshine and spending time with her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Wanda is survived by her husband, James Banks Jr.; daughter Jennifer (Chris) Upchurch; son James (Casie) Banks III; father Alfred Waite, all of Great Falls; grandchildren Jordan, Alexandra and Catalina Upchurch, Brooke, Kayleigh and Aria Banks, all of Great Falls; sisters Julie (Rod) Kriedman of Helena, Norma Waite of Great Falls; brothers Alvin (Lue) Waite of Havre, Duane (Lynett) Waite, Ronald (Berta) Waite, and Timothy Waite, all of Great Falls. She was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Waite. The family of Wanda would like to extend a special thanks to Wanda’s mother-in-law Judy Scalf, for helping to care for Wanda.
