Bill Cereck, 83, of Great Falls, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2022, after a long journey with Alzheimer’s Disease. A celebration of life is planned on June 20, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at O’Connor Memorial Chapel with inurnment immediately following at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Bill was born July 6, 1938, to Frank and Ruby Cereck. He attended Red Butte School and graduated from Great Falls High School in 1956. Bill honorably served as a radioman in the US Navy Reserves for 6 years. After returning to Great Falls, Bill returned to Cereck Ranch to farm and raise beef cattle until his retirement in 2008. In 1963, Bill and Lois Suckow were married. Together they have four children, Jeff (Aiko) of Japan, Jill Lundvall of Billings, Jay (Jeania) of Great Falls, and Jennifer Jost of Phoenix; and eight grandchildren, Chas Spoonheim of Billings, Kylie Spoonheim of Phoenix, Alyssa and Ward Cereck both of Bozeman, Madison Lundvall of Billings, Mallory and Morgan Jost both of Phoenix, and Louis Cereck of Japan; and his sister, Norma (Rick) Haltunen of Puyallup, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Wilma Pilgeram and brother James Cereck. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association or Peace Hospice of Great Falls.
