William Wallen, age 32, passed away at his home in Galveston, Texas on February 5, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. A vigil service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. A funeral liturgy will take place on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., both at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 201 44th South, in Great Falls, Montana. Will was born in Johnson City, New York and grew up in Great Falls, Montana. He also lived in New Mexico and California, but Galveston was truly his home. William was able to make others feel loved and accepted for who they are. He created an environment for both himself and others to thrive. He had a great ability to make people laugh. In his lifetime, Will accomplished many things. He trained as a ballroom dancer and went on dance cruises. He became a body builder. He had a license as a bounty hunter. He worked with special needs people at Quality Life Concepts. He acted in small local films. He also wrote, directed, and had a cameo in the short film “Cowboy Squats.” He wrote “Misadventures in Hospitality,” about the strange happenings from his years in the hospitality business. With a partner, Will started Caduceus Strategies, an online learning platform. During his last year of life, Will became a Master Mason. William is survived by his mother and stepfather, Karin and Lee Langbehn; sisters, Rebekkah Anderson, Elizabeth Wallen-Pipinich, and Lydia Gallapoo; and grandmother, Janet Merrill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Charlotte Gallapoo and his grandfathers, Richard Roeder, George Hossack, and Todd Trefts.
