After two laughter-filled conversations with her girls, and on what would have been their 56th wedding anniversary, our mother, Eleanor Frank, age 78, went to join our dad in Heaven on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Eleanor Oravec was born in Vintondale, Pennsylvania on June 25, 1938 to Helen (Balog) and Albert Oravec. She was the oldest of 6 girls and according to her – they never fought. She married Donald Frank on April 29, 1961 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. They later welcomed two daughters, Regina and Robin. She worked as a secretary for GTE Sylvania. Eleanor loved reading, crossword puzzles, kangaroo rummy, pinochle, ladybugs, butterflies, Jordan almonds, Neil Diamond, the Pittsburgh Steelers and talking with everyone, but she mostly loved her girls, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After losing her husband in June of 2015 she remained fiercely independent and wanted to stay in their house in MT rather than moving to Utah to be with her daughters. She visited there frequently and had just spent 2 lovely weeks – 1 with each daughter before coming back home. She was a wonderful friend who made all who knew her feel special. Eleanor is survived by 4 of her sisters, Mary Davie, Annamae (James) Beltz, Paula (Philip) Popp and Judy Oravec. She loved her sisters so much and enjoyed speaking with them and seeing them as often as she could! She is also survived by her daughters, Regina Oechsle of Layton, UT and Robin (Jeff) Bryant of Orem, UT; grandchildren Spencer Bryant of Missoula, MT, Tyler (Jessica) Bryant of Montana City, MT, Jenny (Danny) Heffner of Cottonwood Heights, UT, Joshua (Anna Victoria) Bryant of Cheyenne, WY, Amanda Oechsle of Salt Lake City, UT, Lindsey (Brent) Lewis of Bluffdale, UT, Zachary, Nicolas and Matthew Bryant of Orem, UT; and 4 great-grandchildren, Violet and Walter Heffner of Cottonwood Heights, UT, Frankie Bryant of Cheyenne, WY and Luke Bryant of Montana City, MT. Eleanor was the best mom, grandma & great-grandma in the world and we will all miss her letters, cards and phone calls! We will miss her laughter and look forward to seeing her again one day! You were so loved!
