Ray was born on 17 April 1997 in Cheboygan, MI to Maureen and Randall Vipperman. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in July 2017 and was assigned to the 341st Missile Maintenance Squadron at Malmstrom AFB in December 2017. He married Tysen Kenna Sigglin on April 11, 2018 in Meridian, Idaho. Ray is survived by his wife, Tysen Sigglin; his parents; brothers Randall, Ricky and Rowen; and sister Kathryn (Kat). He is also survived by his nieces Victoria and Isabella, and nephew Dominic. His mother wants everyone to know “there were so many things about Ray. He loved skateboarding, he was a self-taught musician who played guitar, piano, trumpet, and violin. His favorite color used to be periwinkle simply because he liked the word ‘periwinkle’. Ray took the best care of his baby sister Kat, and was an exceptional student. Brilliant, in fact too brilliant for this world. On his 12th birthday, me (Mother) and his brothers woke him up early, blindfolded him and drove to Universal Hollywood Studios where he had the best day ever. He taught me how to play a video game called Gauntlet, and we played together all night until I learned to beat him. {LOL}” Words from his wife, “Ray and I met playing videogames, I only had one game at the time and he hated playing it; he only played it so he could talk to me. Ray knew the value of relaxation – maybe a little TOO well because he loved leaving things for me to clean up. But he always would do anything for me when I asked. He was so kind and loving; he showed his love in the most annoying ways possible. He would make a joke out of an awful situation. I try to find the good in everything I do now.” Visitation will be held at O’Connor Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
